The Law Office of Robert Sakai: Hayward CA Attorney Specializing In Wills, Trusts, and Probate

I grew up in Hayward and attended local schools, including Tennyson High School. I then attended UC Berkeley, where I received BS and MS degrees in engineering. After working a couple of years as an aerospace engineer, I changed careers and attended law school at the University of California, Hastings College of Law, where I received my law degree in 1974.

I practiced law with the firm of Haley, Purchio, Sakai & Smith for 33 years until the death of managing partner Jack Smith in early 2008. I then opened my own law office.

I help clients in the fields of wills, trusts, and probate. I was appointed by the California State Controller to be a California Probate Referee in 1993 and continue to hold that position. As a Probate Referee I appraise assets that are in probate and in trusts.
